About Teens Next Door: Familiar Strangers. Future Friends.
Teens Next Door is based on the TV show, Operation: Kids Next Door, wherein an uncanny group of kids take it upon themselves to change what they see wrong in society, rising above their differences to make the world better not just for themselves but everyone else as well. We aim to encourage everyone to connect with the familiar strangers around us, our acquaintances, the people we see everyday, those we’ve never gotten to know. Everyone around us has the probability of being our friend; all it takes is a simple hello!

About Aisyah
Aisyah is a netball player (and she loves it very much)  When playing netball, she realised something amazing. (no, it’s not the fact that everyone playing is taller than her) She realised that in a few seconds of insane courage, she had the power to change the whole game around. That is what she’s trying to do today. With a few seconds of courage, you can do anything you want to do. You can move mountains! You can ask the lady at the cashier for more chilli sauce! Or you can start with something a little simpler and just say “Hello” to that person you kind of know but don’t know. Who knows where that one word can take you right?

About Clara-Ann
Clara-Ann is obsessed with looking at the night sky, because she believes that there are stars within each person. And when people meet, when galaxies collide and stars mingle, the fire in our hearts only serve to feed and grow upon each other’s. (note: the above is not scientifically true because stars are huge and we are small and insignificant - on opposite ends of the continuum of things in the universe)

About Fatima
Fatima. Loves. Biology. Likes substrates, she feels that when people come together, they can make something greater than themselves. She hopes to be an enzyme in that she can catalyze relationships between substrates that may collide often or brush past each other, but never in the right manner, and help to make them friends!

About Julia
Julia enjoys adrenaline rushes, be it from dancing, running, cycling, playing team sports or becoming too nervous before going on stage. Julia is a rather awkward person. She enjoys the awkwardness of meeting someone new for the first time, as well as the extremely awkward feeling of finding a common topic to talk about. She believes we should embrace awkward feelings and not let them stop us from meeting new people!

About Victoria
Victoria spends more time playing sims and making sure her sims are dealing with their lives well than dealing with her own. Having said that, she deals with her life the same way she deals with sims. That means she’s crazy fun and super rad. And she strongly feels that making friends is as simple as walking up to a sim/person and saying hi, why do real-life humans make it seem so hard?

About Mrs Alfie
Mrs Alfie is probably the most teen-at-heart in Teens Next Door. With her funky hairdo, leopard-print clothes and mountain-biking gear, she’s the perfect image of hipster, something she always denies but we all know is true deep down. With her on the team, it’s no wonder that our team hobby is taking s(alfies), pun intended.
